Maternity Care & Preconception Counseling
We advise how to achieve optimal health before and during pregnancy; how to miminize risks, and screen for potential problems. During prenancy, your health and your baby's development is of utmost importance to us. We suggest early prenatal care, beginning with a thorough health and family history and basic prenatal education by our nurse. We provide a complete physical exam and routine prenatal care and testing, consistent with community standards. We assist with referrals for childbirth education and other classes such as basic newborn care and breastfeeding 101.
We specialize in personalized, comprehensive, routine prenatal care and delivery. We believe that birth is a physical and spiritual experience and that women have the innate power to give birth. Each journey is unique. Kathleen, Jabke and Janell want to customize your birth plan. We provide labor support to fit your needs; offering bedside support for the unmedicated labor and birth or IV medications and Epidurals as desired. Our service offers WATERBIRTH as an option in the hospital.
